Her World In Poetry

What's Life and What's Fantasy

Dear Incubus

As you wait silently

A virgin sleeps,

Is it when privacy elopes

You intrude the virgins mind?

Oh sickly beast!!

Are you a coward to awakening?

Show your face!!!

When virgin like awake to the world,

You don’t exist in reality

Myth and legend is your home.

Through paralysis you are real

Legal rapist through stories

A monster through truth

Inspiration to you followers

A nightmare to your victims

But wondrous all the same.

Pentagram Dream

My protective circle

Save me from mistakes.

What goes around?

A dream continuous

My circle life,

Five elements of life,

Existence depends on them,

Dreams depend on existence

All directions of my dreams

Honoured and protected

Goddess Love Me

In honour to those I worship

In the blackness of the night

Hear my rites announced

I shall never fear you

I shall always love you

I want you to know my commitment

In honour of the moon

I sit within in it’s shade

I promise unto you a sacrifice

I shall never harm you

I shall never smite your good name

I shall defend in your admiration

In your gift I wonder

Natured Structures that defend me

And assist me with my good practice

I shall pray your good name

I shall never let others hurt you

I shall respect your boundaries

In your presence I shall sleep

Under your star painted ceiling

In quiet times forever

I shall love thee

I shall love thee

I shall love thee

The Woods At Night

The Woods At Night

Like my robes, so black and long

I wonder through the woods at night

In your name I travel so sharp

To a space where I may fear no fright

I kneel upon the withered floor

Of leaves, and twigs and broken stone

A salted circle and I am fuelled

I know that I am not alone

I close my eyes and see you there

You are what I picture you to be

In the darkness of the woods

You stand on high and over me

My table lies full in your processions

My tools of wisdom help’s me through

I admire the rules of my beliefs

If it brings me closer to you

In times I may need some guidance

In bouts of three I never fear

I always know you’re here beside me

Just like a guardian so caring and near.

(This is another poem based upon a ritual taking place. I tried to emphasise in this poem the crucial aspects I require to make commitments to the goddess. I also like to demonstrate the regukar visits I make to local woodlands and forests and therefore have accompanied this poem along with a photograph taken in the Caerphilly woodlands in May 2006 (When poem was written))
